Qur'an Exhibition

imageOn Friday Nov 4, 2011 from 9AM to 5PM Ryerson University AMSA held the Quran exhibition at the RSU Centre lobby. There were two Jamia students Invited. Copies of books about the Holy Quran

were arranged to be given away during the exhibition. All of the AMSA members took shifts during the exhibition as per a schedule. Posters and banners were displayed to advertised the event.

Video on documentaries about the Holy Qur'an were shown using a projector during the exhibition. False allegations about the Holy Quran were cleared by the guest Jamia students. The subject of peace as mentioned in the Holy Quran was discussed in detail. Books such as "Women in Islam", "Philosophy of the teachings of Islam", and copies of the Holy Quran with its English translation were given away to interested students for free. Dialogue between scholars from different sects in Islam took place.

 

AMSA continued their dialogue about the death of Jesus (as) in the Holy Quran with other sects in Islam after the pack up, as it was an interesting topic amongst students at Ryerson. Contact information was taken and dialogue will continue through future events 18 AMSA members volunteered and took part in the event and over 50 guests visited the exhibition.
