Mayar Saghir Tarbiyati Camp 2012

By the sheer grace of Allah Ta`ala Majlis Atfalul Ahmadiyya Canada organized Annual Tarbiyyati Camps for Maya Saghir Atfal throughout Canada in the month of January.

All Regions held their Tarbiyati Camps in which a total of 550 Mayar Saghir Atfal participated. The theme of this year’s Tarbiyati Camp was “Obedience”.

The Mayar Saghir camp was a day program and it was held at Regional level. This camp started with opening session after that Atfal were divided into two groups age (7-9) and age (10-12). All presentations and programs were organised separately for both group. Mayar Saghir Camp for York and Majlis Muqami was held in in Baitul Islam Mosque, GTA East in Baitul Hanif, GTA center in Weston Islington Namaz center, Peel North in Malton Namaz center, Peel South in Baitul Hamd and Western Ontario in Baitun Nur Mosqueque. In Eastern Canada Camp was held in Montreal and Ottawa. In Calgary Region camp was held in Baitun Noor Mosque, In British Columbia Region camp was held in their center and Prairies Region camp was held at Majalis level namely Saskatoon, Regina and Edmonton.

The purpose of this year’s Tarbiyyati Camps was to educate Atfal about the importance of obedience, inculcate proper moral and spiritual values, and to inform them how to become better humans and Muslims. For this purpose, PowerPoint presentation were made on the topics of HudurAA address to Atfal in Germany, Obedience to Parents, An Ahmadi Tifl as role model and proper use of Tehnology at your age.  Atfal were quizzed on these presentations to ensure that they retained the knowledge they obtained throughout this camp. To ensure that the Atfal exercise their brain in every capacity puzzles such as mazes were also given to them. 

Atfal attended the event with great enthusiasm and learned from the various intellectual and educational activities comprising the whole program. Presentations were designed in a form which could be easily understood and comprehended by the Atfal. Moreover, the camp functioned mainly as a forum where Atfal from their early age are made familiar with the traditions of Jama`at and being educated about the basic teaching of Islam and Ahmadiyyat. Furthermore, throughout the program, Atfal had the opportunity to ask question to the presenters and thereby increase their overall religious knowledge.

By the sheer grace of Allah, the Tarbiyyati camps throughout Canada were successful in all matters such as content and organization. May Allah Ta`ala shower His special blessing on all participants and volunteers who dedicated their time for this noble cause and reward then abundantly. Ameen!
