Regional and National Blood Drives

Majlis Khuddam ul Ahmadiyya is the largest faith based partner of the Canadian Blood Services. MKAC organizes and hosts Blood Donor Clinics at our own hosted sites as well as at local blood donor clinics across Canada. In 2008 calendar year, MKAC organized blood drives that resulted in donations of up to 220 units (220 individual donors). Our aim is to exceed this number in 2009, Inshallah. MKAC in conjunction with the Canadian Blood Services will be hosting two major national events in 2009 along with smaller walk-in events at local clinics. May Allah bless our efforts and make this a successful year.

Annual National Food Drive

Majlis Khuddam ul Ahmadiyya organizes a national food drive every year. The proceeds are donated to Humanity First and various other food banks across Canada. In the year 2008, MKAC was able to collect approximately 129,000 lbs of food from across Canada, Alhamdolillah. It is our aim to exceed this figure in the year 2009. May Allah bless our efforts.

Canadian Citizenship Ceremony Hosting

Majlis Khuddam ul Ahamdiyya Canada will continue to provide its hosting services to the Canadian Citizenship ceremonies. This involves the arrangements, refreshments and welcome speech by Ahmadi Khuddam to new Canadians taking the owth of citizenship. This exercise enables MKAC to show its pride and dedication to Canada as our home and to welcome new Canadians to this great land. May Allah keep Canada strong and free.

Adopt a Hiway/road Initiatives

The Khidmate Khalq department, in conjunction with the Waqare Amal department will work towards maintaining our commitments to Adopt-a-road, Adopt-a-hiway and Adopt-a-part initiatives. Also, the two MKAC departments will seek out new opportunities where our services can be of value. May Allah bless our efforts.

Humanity First Projects

The Khidmate Khalq department also provides support for various Humanity First Canada initiatives. The support can be in the form of charitable food donations through national food drives or logistical support by providing volunteers for the various humanitarian projects organized by Humanity First. Our Khidmate Khalq volunteers aim to assist Humanity First on a regular basis in order to achieve its aims.
