Musleh Mau`ud (ra) Tournament
Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Canada held their annual Musleh Mau`ud (ra) tournaments at the Regional level throughout Canada on Sunday Feb 27th.
This year a special focus was given to the education of Khuddam about the life of Hadrat Musleh Mau`ud (ra), the Promised Reformer. Exhibitions were setup in most Regions displaying pictures and achievements of Hadrat Musleh Mau`ud (ra) along with video presentations in the opening sessions.
During the day, most part of the tournaments included various sports sessions.
Canada-wide, there were a total of 1542 Khuddam who attended these tournaments in their respective Regions.
In York Region, a one-day event was held that started at 10:00 AM on a Sunday morning. The opening session was presided by respected Amir sahib. A presentation on the life and achievements of Hadrat Khalifatul Masih II (ra) was shown during this session. Afterward respected Amir sahib addressed the attendees and lead them in silent prayers.
Majalis level teams participated in various sports activities such as Basketball, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Badminton, and Carrom Board throughout the day.
Closing session was held around 8:00 PM in the evening where a report of the event was presented followed by Sadr sahib Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya address to Khuddam. He highlighted the importance of offering congregational prayers at the Mosques relating to incidents from the life of Hadrat Musleh Mau`ud (ra) in his young age. Afterwards, prizes were distributed and the event concluded with silent prayers.
