Guidelines

  

Purpose

Increase the participation of Khuddam in Chanda Tahrik Jadid and to implement demands of Tahrik Jadid such as living a simple life and Waqf Zindagi. Promote Waqf `Arzi amongst Khuddam.


Reporting Structure

¨  Reports directly to Qa’id Majlis and Regional Nazim.

¨  Reports indirectly to Muhtamim Tahrik Jadid.

¨  Responsible for implementing the decisions made by the Qa’id and Majlis `Amila.


Duties as per Constitution

(The word Muhtamim has been replaced by the word Nazim as per Rule #147 of the constitution of Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya)

113.     Nazim Tahrik Jadid shall put every possible effort to make all the aims and objects of Tahrik Jadid a success.


Tasks

¨  Educate Khuddam about the blessed scheme of Tahrik Jadid.

¨  Make special schemes and plans to motivate all Khuddam to make standard pledge in the financial schemes of the Tahrik. There is no fixed rate for Chanda Tahrik Jadid.

¨  Arrange special lectures and programs to implement the 25 appeals contained in the original Tahrik issued by Hadrat Musleh Mau`ud  e.g, living a simple life.

¨  In order to involve successive generations of Ahmadis into the financial sacrifices, different Dafatar were introduced from time to time by Hadrat Khalifatul
Masih ایدہ اللہ تعالیٰ بنصرہ العزیز. These Dafatar as follows:

-          Daftar Saum – 1965 - 1985

-          Daftar Chaharum – 1985 - 2004

-          Daftar Punjam – 2004 - onward

¨  Categorize Khuddam in the Daftar of Tahrik Jadid depending on the year they started making financial sacrifices for Tahrik Jadid.

¨  Make sure that all pledges are collected on time.

¨  Motivate Khuddam to devote their lives for the cause of Islam (Waqf Zindagi).

¨  Motivate Khuddam to lead a simple life.

¨  Ensure that the term Waqf `Arzi is explained to all Khuddam in the Majlis by way of lectures and seminars.

¨  Encourage Khuddam to participate in Waqf `Arzi Scheme to assist the National Waqf `Arzi Committee by suggesting suitable names of Khuddam for the Waqf `Aarzi scheme.

Note:   The scheme of Tahrik Jadid was initiated in 1934 by Hadrat Khalifatul Masih (II) for funding the spread of Islam in countries outside Pakistan.


Demands of Tahrik Jadid    

1. Lead a simple life.

2. Participate in spreading the message of Islam worldwide.

3. Dedicate leave periods for the service of Jama‘at.

4. Members to dedicate their lives to serve Islam.

5. Dedicate during seasonal vacation, periods for the service of Jama‘at.

6. Offer your children for life-time Waqf.

7. Pensioners/Retired people to offer themselves for service of Jama‘at.

8. Dedicate part of your income and property.

9. Influential and learned Ahmadis should give lectures.

10. Prepare rebuttal of adverse propaganda.

11. Seek advice from the Jama‘at when deciding about higher education and  
future of your children.

12. Develop the habit of working with your own hands (instead of depending upon others).

13. Jobless persons should not hesitate to take up even petty jobs.

14. Promote Islamic culture.

15. Promote honesty in the society.

16. Keep the paths clean.

17. Protect women’s rights.

18. If possible members may build houses in Qadian.

19. Offer special prayers in order to succeed in these undertakings.
