Purpose

Inculcate the habit of offering five daily prayers, establish Islamic values such as truthfulness and trustworthiness and to promote the schemes of the Hifz Qur’an and Waqf `Arzi. Encourage Khuddam to write letters to Huzur ایدہ اللہ تعالیٰ بنصرہ العزیز requesting prayers, participate in the system of Wasiyat and arrange for Tarbiyati classes.

Reporting Structure

¨  Reports directly to Qa’id Majlis and Regional Nazim.

¨  Reports indirectly to Muhtamim Tarbiyat.

¨  Responsible for implementing the decisions made by the Qa’id and Majlis `Amila.

Duties as per Constitution

(The word Muhtamim has been replaced by the word Nazim as per Rule #147 of the constitution of Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya)

98.    Nazim Tarbiyat shall strive to make members of the Jama`at abide by the Islamic injunctions. Also, he shall try to introduce Islamic morals and etiquettes to them.

99.    He shall adopt appropriate reformatory plans for the training of the youth.

100.  He shall keep adopting schemes to inculcate national spirit and determination in Jama`at members.

Tasks

¨  Encourage Khuddam to offer daily prayers preferably in congregation.

¨  Inspire Khuddam to adopt Islamic moral values in their daily lives.

¨  Establish Namaz centers to offer congregational prayers.

¨  Encourage Khuddam to listen to Hadrat Khalifatul Masih ایدہ اللہ تعالیٰ بنصرہ العزیز sermons regularly.

¨  Establish regular Tarbiyati classes to inculcate values such as truthfulness, respect for elders, love for children, respect for the institution of Jama`at and absolute obedience to Nizam Jama`at.

¨  Ensure that Khuddam read The Holy Qur’an on a daily basis. Arrange for Dars Qur’an throughout the year.

¨  Involve parents in the moral training of Khuddam.

¨  Encourage Khuddam to be proud of their culture and heritage so as to promote cultural diversity.

¨  Arrange speeches on social issues during various programmes of the Majlis by respected elders of the Jama`at.

¨  Establish relationships with Khuddam by visiting them regularly.

¨  Celebrate Ashra Tarbiyat and the program as provided by National Markaz.

¨  Encourage Khuddam to write letters to Hadrat Khalifatul Masih ایدہ اللہ تعالیٰ بنصرہ العزیز

¨  Publish articles/circulars on Tarbiyati issues.

¨  Encourage Khuddam to watch M.T.A International programs.

¨  Establish a committee to research and attempt to resolve the social and moral issues within the Majlis by regularly meeting with Khuddam and Atfal.

¨  Perform statistical analysis to monitor the progress of Khuddam, especially the inactive and new members of Jama`at.

¨  A detailed analysis of the Tarbiyati status of Khuddam should be conducted quarterly with Qa’id Majlis.

¨  Prepare compact and precise programs designed specifically to target those Khuddam who are not in contact with the Majlis.

¨  Educate parents on how to handle social issues with children.

¨  Encourage Khuddam who face the challenge of deciding between right and wrong to read the commentary of Surah Yusuf.

¨  Make literature and Huzur’s ایدہ اللہ تعالیٰ بنصرہ العزیز videos that deal with social issues available to Khuddam, Atfal and their parents.

¨  Motivate Khuddam to read the books of Hadrat Masih Mau`ud  and Jama`at literature.

¨  Hold Tarbiyati classes on quarterly basis.

¨  Encourage Khuddam to exercise at least the following acts of goodness:

-    Nafli Roza (Voluntary fast)

-    Offering of Nawafal and Tahujjad prayers to gain the blessings to Allah Almighty

-   Brotherhood and well being of humanity

• Honesty, Obedience, Truthfulness, Loyalty, Sacrifice, Forgiveness, etc.

-    Reading the books of The Promised Messiah

¨  Hold Jalsa Seerat‑un‑Nabi

¨  Ensure that Khuddam attend the Ijlasat organized by Jama`at.

¨  Get pledges from Khuddam to adopt the five fundamental characteristics as emphasized by Hadrat Khalifatul

• Truthfulness
• Use of polite and respectable language
• Care for People, awareness of others pain and to find ways of removing this pain
• Patience
• Strong will and courage

¨  Encourage Khuddam to participate in Nizam Wasiyat.

¨  Motivate Khuddam to participate in Waqf `Arzi scheme.

¨  Promote Waqf Zindagi scheme amongst Khuddam.

¨  Discuss the issue of Khuddam offering Namaz in every `Amila meeting. Conduct a regular follow-up to monitor successes in this regard.

¨  Promote Hifz Qu’ran scheme amongst Khuddam. Forward the names of those Khuddam who have memorized at least one part of the Holy Qur’an to National Markaz.

¨  Instill the habit of wearing a cap and keeping a beard amongst Khuddam.
