Ta`limi and Tarbiyati Class 2010
Alhamdolillah, the 5th Annual Talim and Tarbiyati class has come to a successful close. Last year there was a total of 74 students in this class out of which 62 completed the class. This year there was 76 students, out of which 63 completed the class. By the grace of Allah, this year all regions across Canada participated in this class except prairie and Calgary region due to the difference in their march break schedule.

25 Majalis were represented, out of a total of 56 in Canada.

The students were divided into 8 groups, namely Sadeeq, Umar, Usthman, Ali, Noor, Mahmood, Nasir, and Tahir, and Students of Jamia Ahmadiyya Canada were in charge of leading these groups.

The mornings began with Fajr prayer, and recitation of the Holy Qur’an right after that.

The Educational Syllabus consisted of 4 main subjects, namely the Holy Qur’an and Hadith, Comparative religions, Urdu, and Namaz Translation.

There was also a video class in which the students were shown a video on Ahmadiyyat, the Revival of Islam, and a video documentary on the life of Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih Awal (r.a).
On one of the days, the students also attended presentations for 4 careers including:

Jamia Ahmadiyya
For their research projects, the students were required to make power point presentations on various topics including:

Reflections on The Holy Qur’an and Science

Investment, Interest & Islam

Marriage in Islam

Treatment of the Parents-Islamic Teachings

The Prayers-Namaz

Existence of God-Who is Allah

Nizam-e-Jamaa’t-e- Ahmadiyya

There were speeches and question-answer sessions held with dignitaries. These included Lal Khan Malik sahib, Amir Jama`at Ahmadiyya Canada, Abdul Wahab Adam sahib Amir Jammat Ahmadiyya Ghana, Mubarik Nazir sahib Missionary In charge Canada, Sadar Majlis Shahid Mansoor sahib, and Hadi Ali Chaudary sahib, Professor of Jamia Ahmadiyya Canada.
Other than that, on most days, the students participated in group sessions after Maghrib and Isha` prayers with senior Jamia students in which they engaged in various discussions of a religious and Tarbiyati nature.
The students also had the opportunity to listen to Darsul Hadith after Fajr every morning and a Dars from the book, Our Teachings, after Maghrib and Isha` prayers.
The students also enjoyed sports activities every evening and competed against each other in Soccer, Basketball, Hockey, Football, and Tug of war,
On Monday, the students were taken on an educational and recreational outing. They were first taken to the University of Toronto, St George Campus. There we visited the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science.
The university has been ranked 8th best in the world, and placed number 1 in Canada for the Faculty of Engineering.
Near the afternoon the khuddam were taken to Husky Injection Molding Systems, which is the world's largest brand name supplier of injection molding equipment and services to the plastics industry. Along with Husky Khuddam were also given the opportunity to visit Jamia Ahmadiyya Canada.
Near the Evening the Khuddam proceeded to the Jalsah Gah Property of Jama`at Ahmadiyya Canada- Hadeeqatul Mahdi in Bradford, Ontario. After a delicious barbeque, the students engaged in various sports such as, Footbal, and tug of war, in tug of war exhibitional matches also took place for the volunteers.
Alhamdollilah, this class was conducted successfully only with the blessings of Allah Ta`ala both from the point of view of the organizers as well as the students.
