AMSA Q/A session with Amir sahib Canada
Report on Ahmadiyya Muslim Student Association Grade 12 students' Question/Answer session with Amir sahib.
On Sunday, August 14th, 2011 there was a Grade 12 graduates program held at the Bai’tul Islam Mosque at 11:00 AM. After the Registration the program started with Tilawat. There were various presentations including welcome address by Maood Tahir sahib, National Mutamim `Umur-e-Talaba’.
Presentation by AMSA president was made as to what to expect in University life.
All the GTA Majalis participated in this event on a short notice. Allhamdullilah it was a successful event with participants from all major universities and colleges. AMSA stalls from University of Toronto, Ryerson University, McMaster University, York University and Seneca College were present. There were forty high school graduates who attended the session and benefited from asking questions from Amir sahib. Questions like ‘How to prevent from social evils in university life?’ were addressed.
On Sadr sahib instructions we invited Majlis Ansar Sultan Al Qalam (MASQ) Chairman from USA, Sardar Anees sahib. who addressed the concept of MASQ and its role and activities in defending the honor of Islam. He provided guidance to the youth entering college and universities on writing skills. His presentation was geared towards creating an interest in the Youth on writing. Students were presented with references from Holy Qur’an, Hadith and the sayings of the Promised Messiah (as). Overall the program was a success and all who attended benefited from it.
