Adopt a Road

By the grace of Allah, Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Brampton Springdale has adopted two roads in the area of Brampton under Adopt-a-Road program of Peel Region.

ADOPT-A-ROAD is a sponsorship program where individuals or groups show their commitment to the environment by helping remove roadside litter.

Garbage and debris or roadside litter is unappealing to the eye for both residents and motorists, is harmful to the environment and takes away from a community's natural beauty.

The roadside litter can:

    Be harmful to animals that consume it
    Plug or block water drainage systems
    Present safety concerns for both drivers and pedestrians
    Carry a fine enforceable through by-law
