Match Format

  • Maximum of 10 players per team
  • There are 2 outs per inning and a maximum of 6 runs can be scored per inning by a team at bat and then switch will be done.
  • The opposite team pitcher pitches to your team, and the pitcher lobs the pitch in a 3*2 circle on top of home plate and the pitch has to land on the platform in order for it to count as a strike.
  • The pitcher must have both feet on the pitcher’s rubber and can only take one step forward while pitching. The ball must be thrown underhand.
    There are 3 strikes and your out, 4 balls and you get a base.
  • For the base runners there is no base stealing or leading off or sliding into the bases.
  • Teams will be Zila-based.  1 team per Zila

Rules and Regulations – Softball


  • Batters must follow the same order throughout the whole game.
  • The batter is out when three strikes have been called, a fly ball is caught, the batter does not stand in the batter’s box when he is batting and if you foul on your 3rd strike (if you foul when you already have 2 strikes) you are out.
  • Substitutions can be made but you have to notify the umpire, a player that has been substituted out can not be substituted back in.
